Commitment to Accessibility
We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Technical Standard
This website follows the harmonised European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03), "Accessibility requirements for ICT products and services", which incorporates WCAG 2.1 Level AA as its web accessibility baseline.
Legal Framework
This accessibility statement is issued in compliance with:
- European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019), applicable from 28 June 2025
- Ley 11/2023, de 8 de mayo (Spain), which transposes the European Accessibility Act into Spanish law
- Real Decreto 1112/2018, de 7 de septiembre, on accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications
Assessment Methods
We assess the accessibility of this website through the following methods:
- Automated testing: jest-axe integration tests run on every component to detect WCAG violations
- Manual keyboard navigation testing: All interactive elements are tested for full keyboard accessibility (Tab, Enter, Escape, Arrow keys)
- Screen reader testing: Major user flows are tested with NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS/iOS)
- Colour contrast verification: All text and UI components meet the minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components)
- Responsive design testing: Accessibility is verified across viewports from 320px to 1536px+
Measures Taken
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Accessibility is a core design requirement, not an afterthought
- All interactive elements have a minimum touch target of 44×44px
- Visible focus indicators are present on all interactive elements
- Semantic HTML is used throughout (landmarks, headings hierarchy, lists)
- ARIA attributes are used where native HTML semantics are insufficient
- All images have appropriate alternative text
- Forms include associated labels, error messages, and validation feedback
- Animations respect the
prefers-reduced-motionuser preference
